Upcoming conference call for all involved in resource ministry

Hello all,
I hope you've all had time for a change of pace and some rest and reflection over the summer! It's only the middle of July, I know, but August is just around the corner when we have two conference calls scheduled. For all of you who work with resources, please join us on the first and last Tuesdays of August for two hour-long conversations in preparation for fall.

For Tuesday, August 2, 10am CDT, our conversation will focus on Rally Day, fall planning and curriculum updates. Kay Neubauer, Education Specialist at AFP, will share the latest information on curricula. She'd like input from each of us re: best Rally Day resources and two or three of the most frequent requests re: fall planning. If there are other specific topics you would find helpful, please let me know asap. This hour of your time should be productive and helpful as you work with congregations in August.

It's great to hear from you, Henry. It would be wonderful to have your voice on the monthly resource calls--they're almost always a primo example of the best of resource sharing. Perhaps you can join us another time? Yes, we're all feeling the challenges of difficult times. It's truly an ongoing reformation across the church and though the pain is sometimes unbearable, I truly believe we all are part of a positive and hope-filled shift as we learn new ways to be church.
