 The purpose of RESOGUIT-L is to be a forum for discussion of: 

*      Topics relating "Hawaiian" or "Lap" styles of the

*      Dobro(tm) or resonator guitar. 

*      Discussions may focus on musical styles, playing techniques,

*      instruments, instrument makers, artists and recordings.

Commercial Advertising _IS_NOT_PERMITTED_, however, material presented to the list for informational purposes is acceptable use for the list. Private individuals may use the list for notification of personal instrument or accessory sales if    such notifications are not constant. Published pricing is not allowed. 

Discussions relating to lap-steel, pedal-steel and "Spanish" styled  playing may be tolerated for _short_ periods, and, only for the purpose of comparison to the resonator guitar. The list-owner may terminate such threads at his own discretion. 

Flaming and spamming are not acceptable on RESOGUIT-L.
