Trash Fires in Ladera Heights

There has been a rash of trash fires in Ladera Heights. The LA County Fire Department is looking at the incidents that have occurred to see if they can come up with any “common threads”. Please note the following:

 

1. If trash cans must remain out in the open and accessible, they should be moved AWAY from any structures, so that if someone lights it on fire, the chances of flames reaching the structure will be reduced.
2. If it is possible, move all trash cans into areas that are not publically accessible.
