I like to upgrade my Gerrit server's OS from Ubuntu client to Ubuntu
server. If i back up entire Gerrit2 user account and restore it back
once i upgrade machine to ubuntu server, will that work? Is is that
simple or i need to do more steps?

Hi
Yep, it will work. For Postgres I use pg_dump/pg_restore. It also works if you upgrade Postgres database.
