I am pleased to finally announce Gerrit 2.2.2 final!

Download:

http://code.google.com/p/gerrit/downloads/list

This release is identical to the 2.2.2-rc1 release in
everything but the docs which have had some nice updates to
them, including adding Release notes, you may view them
here:

http://gerrit-
documentation.googlecode.com/svn/Documentation/2.2.2/index.html

http://gerrit-
documentation.googlecode.com/svn/ReleaseNotes/ReleaseNotes-2.2.2.html

If you have been holding off from upgrading to the 2.2.x
series, this is probably a much better choice to do that
with than 2.2.1 was, since the ACL changes have finally been
mostly documented and the performance of this release has
also been greatly improved. If you still have any concerns,
please let us know.

Of note, the 2.2.2 release introduces a new prolog engine
which is tied into the submit action. The Release notes
will give you an idea of some of the power that this will
give Gerrit. Please consider trying out some new rules and
perhaps even contributing some of your favorites. Maybe
someone will be inspired by the new capabilities offered by
this engine and help provide some documentation also... :)

So go get it, install it, upgrade and let's start working on
releasing 2.2.3!

Thanks,

-Martin

Awesome! Thanks!

I'm really interested in learning how to set up custom workflows using the new prolog engine, but wasn't able to find anything relevant in the documentation. Can someone point me to an example somewhere?

Thanks,
Ishaaq
