Hi, this forum seems pretty quiet but figured I would post and see if
anyone is watching.
I have programming experience but it was a while back. I have decided to
take up programming again and want to take on a few changes that I would
like to see in RepG as my re-entry into java programming.
I have downloaded and installed everything that should be needed including
the RepG source code, and replaced the files for 64 bit windows that were
indicated for "eclipse use" in the docs because i figured it applied to Ant
under Win7-64 as well.
So, I can get RepG to compile and run in the Ant environment just fine, but
if I use the distro command, it appears to work and makes a zip file that
appears to contain all of the needed files to work, but after extracting
the files and trying to run the Replicatorg.exe file from that new build,
it does not open the RepG window like it should (and like it does if I just
use the "ant run" command).
It appears to be trying to open and run because I can view the new java
instance in Java Visual VM, but no window actually opens.
Does anyone have any experience with this that can point me in the right
direction of what I might be missing?
Thanks in advance for any help =)
