How does it rly works?

Okey, i got RemotePad and RemotePad Server.exe
But i wonder how they talk to gether...
This Windows dont got WiFi(WireLess) nor Bluetooth.
Its only connected with a LAN Cable. But do they speak through the
Router or what?
