Hi All..
Happy New Year and all that, hope Santa brought you the new shiny
toys you were looking for.
Anyway.
Does anyone here have any information regarding the command/query
protocol, to get operational status and data etc (frequency, mode
and so on) OUT of the "Skanti TRP 8xxx" series radios?
These are ex commercial (mostly marine) 250W (or 750W) multi mode

Issue with the Web Receciver

I downloaded the web receiver software and the update as instructed on
the website. When I ran it for the first time it didn’t come up with
config file info as the website said it would. When I run it it
doesn’t seem to work properly. I got a password from KA1CDE. When I
hit the login button it stays red for a few seconds then stops.

I use a good spam filter, and you probably do the same.
I have whitelisted you and that means that I will receive all the emails you send to me.
I would appreciate it if you would whitelist my email address: k7...@comcast.net in your spam filter.
If you don't have a spam filter, I can recommend SPAMfighter. It is a highly effective free spam filter for Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail and Mozilla Thunderbird.

I now have a Mac. I know that I'm not able to run the W4MQ software
with a Mac but I am planing to buy VMWare Fusion and then the 64 bit
Version of the new Windows 7 Professional operating system. Will the
W4MQ software work with this arrangement?

DXlabs Commander with IRBHost users

I've just released what I think should be a fix if you are having
error messages pop up when Commander starts up. Version 6.003.002 is
now available from [link] if you are having this
problem.

Since I can't easily duplicate the problem on my own remote I'll have
to rely on the IRBHost users out there to let me know if this fixes

Minor update of IRBHost now available

new version is now 6.003.01.

An Internet conference on remote ham station operation

Hi folks,

I'm presently working on putting together a web based conference on
the operation of ham stations over the Internet. In order to determine
the resources I'd need to do such a conference I'm looking for input
from you if any of you are interested in it. The conference would
actually be a round table type discussion of a small group of hams

N2JEU remote now running in testing mode

I've been able to get my own remote going to be able to do testing in
preparation for some IRB software changes and updates. If you're
running the host side software you'll see it listed there running
version 6.003.01A of the host software. There are NO new features yet
in this software, only changes to lessen the load on W4MQ's own server
