Well my remote has been up for some time but over the last year or so
I have noticed some problems I can't seem to overcome. Any one have
any ideas?

1) Audio when using IRB Sound like an old steam train - seems to
"chuff" is the only description I can make. When using skype it sounds
fine. Ideas? This also happens on other remotes so maybe it is a
setting in my local laptop I use.
2) I can't get the ALC/SWR meter to stay on SWR. Ideas?
3) I need to set the AM and FM power to 25 watts - can this be done?

The system is back on the 8ele LP with the TS480 through the winter
months - maybe I will build an air conditioned unit before the 120F
temps of summer hit.

RE: Item 1

That is what happened with our club (ve6ao irb)
The Laptop must be using Vista.
Had to set up Skype accounts for those users who were not using XP
operating system.
