I'm creating a cocoa interface for managing my rtm tasks, and I can
perform almost all api supported operations.
I have a strange issue that i can't figure out the cause to. When
trying to use rtm.tasks.moveTo (i checked that the from_list_id and
to_list_id arguments are both valid, non-smart lists and different
before issuing that call), i get an error 4010, which the
documentation states to be due to the target list being the same as
the destination one.

I've run extensive tests, and I'm sure I'm issuing the correct command
(and all other commands are working properly). Can it be either a
server problem (on the web interface i can't move it, though), or a
bug on the api function? I'd appreciate some insight into this issue.

Thanks in advance!

Hey Edgar,

I'm not able to reproduce this issue -- can you please send me more
details (request URLs, params, etc)?

Thanks!

Regards,
Omar

Hey Edgar,

I just put up a little website that I have been using internally to test some RTM API methods and responses here at http://milkapi.com the other day.

Feel free to give this method a try on the site to see if you get the same error.

Also let me know if you have any issues or any feedback about the site.

Thanks,

Jason Emerick

Ok, I apologize for the noise: after more testing, it turns out I was
really using the same task list ID on both source and destination. My
bad...

milkapi.com is great, specially to learn about how the API works
(sometimes the documentation can be a bit vague, specially wrt
responses with nested tags!). You should advertise it, and you surely
deserve a link to it in the RTM tools section!

Thanks,
