Subject: RULES CORONA CONTEST 1997

                     DARC 10-m-DIGITAL-Contest "Corona"
                     ----------------------------------

        We have the great pleasure to invite you to join the CORONA 10-m-
        Digital-Contest. This contest is organized by the Deutsher Amateur-
        Radio-Club (DARC) to increase interest in all rtty modes.

TEST PERIOD: On the first full weekend in the month March, July, September
        and November every year; begins Sunday 11.00 UTC and ends 17.00 UTC.

BAND:   Only 28 MHz Amateurband.

CLASSES: 1 - Single operator
         2 - Short Wave Listener (SWL).

MODES:  All two-way contacts in RTTY (Baudot), AMTOR, PACTOR, CLOVER.

CALL:   CQ CORONA TEST.

MESSAGE: RST and QSO number starting with 001.

CONTACTS: Stations can be worked in RTTY, AMTOR, CLOVER and in PACTOR.

        Additional contact may be made with the same stations if a different
        mode is allowed.

QSO-POINTS: Each completed QSO scores one point in every mode.

MULTIPLIERS: A multiplier of one is given for contacted each country by
        DXCC/WAE-list and for each call-district in JA, W, VE.

LOGS:   Please a separate log for each mode.

        Log must contain: Date, Mode, Time UTC, Callsign, Message sent and
        received, Points and Multipliers.

SCORING: Sum of QSO points x sum of multipliers.

DEADLINE: Four weeks after the test (postmarked).
