First thoughts, would be of concern that the group turns into a market place
for buying and selling equipment. There are other places for that. I see
your company doesn't publish a privacy policy on your company web site,
therefore I would also be concerned what you would do with the information.
I get enough unsolicited emails now.

I'd like to propose that we get vcards for everyone in the group, so we
have everyone's individual information ~ either that or just have
someone compile the list of members into an Excel sheet so we can import
them to Outlook (but that seems like it creates work for someone).

At NextStep we are challenged by the new e-cycles law. We are not permitted
to remove any items from CEDs (covered electronic devices) that go to
recycling. We have to secure these gaylords out of common areas. The state
law does not require that collectors do any data protection-consumers are
