Job Summary

The Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer will be responsible for development of a Rails interface for storage products. The position is a mix of new development and addressing customer issues in an iterative release model.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in software development
• Knowledge of storage and/or database systems
• Experience with Linux operating system - user management, networking, file system, logs and Linux system tools
• Experience developing custom web based user applications on Linux operating system
• Strong Computer Science skills (Java, C, C++, SQL, Object Oriented Design)
• Experience with multiple scripting languages (Ruby/Rails, Python, Perl, PHP, shell scripting)
• Understanding of and experience with web technologies (CSS, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX)
• Web application experience (MVC, Rails, JSP, Struts, Spring)
• Excellent team player with organizational, interpersonal communication, and presentation skills
