Drupal 6 folks around?

I work for an Austin social media firm and we might need to migrate
and then manage a drupal 6 site for several months while we get ready
to migrate them to our platform. Anyone out there have experience
migrating production sites (50k+ hits/day) from one hosting
environment to another?
