About this Position
Front End Web Developers are the primary owners of the technical
components of an implementation project. They are responsible for
bridging the gap between business owners of a project and the
technology team responsible for implementing it. We are looking for
unique candidates that can speak both the business and technical
languages fluently, and are passionate about hands-on technical
configuration and creative problem solving. This job is not an easy
one – to be successful at a startup company requires a great deal of
focus and dedication to your job responsibilities and your team. We
believe strongly that each hire we make will contribute a great deal
to our Technical Services team. Attention to detail and a passion to
want to work for OUR company is critical for success at Bazaarvoice–
simply wanting to leave where you currently are is not sufficient.

Key Job Responsibilities:

* Solution configuration using HTML and CSS
* Manage the technical deployment of the Bazaarvoice solution for
new customers
* Manage client technical relationships during the implementation
project
* Formal testing, troubleshooting, and QA
* Development and maintenance of internal and client-facing
documentation

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate has experience as a key contributor to multiple
technology integration engagements and meets most or all of the
following requirements:

* BS/BA degree required, Computer Science or CIS/MIS majors
preferred
* A strong understanding of HTML, JavaScript, CSS and related web
technologies
* Knowledge of SQL and database design concepts (MySQL experience
a plus)
* UI design/mock-up skills are a major plus
* Experience using version control and issue tracking systems a
plus
* Positive, self-starter attitude and desire to exceed client
expectations at every opportunity
* Attention to detail and absolute focus on quality of work
* Authorization to work in the U.S.
