Front End Developer (HTML/CSS) @ BuildASign

BuildASign.com is seeking a full-time markup specialist to join its
talented team. The primary responsibility for this position is
production HTML/CSS markup for our entire web graphics, including
emails, landing pages, and more. We work in a dynamic, energetic,
and fun environment. We are always on the lookout for people with big
talent to help us provide our customers with an outstanding purchasing
experience on our website.
A successful candidate will have:
• A great attitude and understanding of in-house and production design
work
• Proficiency and 3+ years’ experience with HTML, JavaScript and CSS
(creating mockups needed from wireframes made in power point,
Photoshop, or hand-drawn)
• Strong knowledge of CSS cross-browser compatibility
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator,
Fireworks and Flash) on PC
• Strong understanding and passion for Web UI design and exposure to
Web UI design principles and patterns
• Interface design and user experience design skills
• Strong knowledge of email client inbox restrictions and HTML
workarounds
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment
• Ability to conceptualize projects from both a programming
perspective and a business point of view
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Strong pro-activity
• Strong proofing ability- passion for outputting only customer-ready,
high quality deliverables
• Hours flexibility Mon-Fri, especially around launch of major
marketing campaigns (weekend help needed rarely)

Main job responsibilities:
• Web markup- html/CSS (80-90%)
• Improving our front end code (10-20%)
• Graphic design work- web, print, multimedia (as time allows)
• Bachelors degree in related field preferred
