Summary


OneSource is looking for its next Austin teammate to help build a great user experience using the latest techniques and technologies.  If you just *have* to implement infinite scroll because paging is lame, or you just know that animating that transition is better than just refreshing the page, then this is the kind of place you want to be.

It’s cool tech but we’re serious about our business, too.  Our products and services support our customers’ vital business processes, including serving their own customers, finding and leveraging new opportunities, and working with suppliers and partners.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will be working with a small knowledgeable team to implement a user experience employing the latest front-end design principles and technologies.

  • You will be implementing a robust cross-browser and cross-platform application which includes support across desktop and mobile tablet devices.

Required:

  • Proficiency with Javascript/JQuery, HTML5/CSS3, and implementing responsive web designs

  • Development experience in product team environment

  • Use of git in a product team environment

  • Expert understanding of jQuery

  • Strong command of OO principles/techniques in javascript

  • Experience implementing complex front-end applications across popular browsers

  • Get a weird feeling when you check something in without unit tests

  • Should be able to integrate data from APIs into complex javascript applications

  • Believe that office pranksterism is mandatory

Would be Especially Cool:

  • Experience with front-end stack using JQuery, backbone.js, require.js, boostrap and grunt.js

  • Experience with the Lift framework

  • Exposure to agile methodologies
