We have recently connected with a  client in town that is looking for
a  Python Developer. Our client was voted as one of Austin’s Top Work
Places for 2011. They value a developer who is able to bring their own
ideas and style. The ability to work in a collaborative environment
and have a sense of humor is very important.

The primary responsibilities will be designing and implementing new
intranet projects and in general improving and streamlining the
workflow for the rest the company.  Their development is mostly done
in Python with Django, alongside standard web stuff like HTML5 and
Javascript.

Some of their current projects are: a custom internal ticket tracking
system for post-sales support of our customers, an online contract
creation/signing system used by our agents as well as our partners,
and a CRM with accompanying tie-ins to our phone system for tight
integration between our dialer and CRM.

What they are looking for;

A skilled Python web developer with knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or SQL
Server and experience developing real-time reporting and intranet
applications who knows the value of unit (and browser) testing. Data
mining, high-concurrency network services, and lower-level language
experience is a big plus.
