to Refinery CMS
I am probably too stupid for RoR and refinery
After having spent innumerable hours trying to fix the application which
was running fine on rails 2.3.5 and refinerycms 0.9.6.31,
I decided I wanted to try deploying everything on heroku.
Our client is yelling at us claiming sales losses.
As I have already a running 0.9.7.12 in my local machine which is deployed on heroku,
I didn't install latest version, cause I wanted to avoid rails3 etc mess.
So I first created a new version of the app using
refinerycms herokuversion
now I am trying to move everything over from my old app.
But there's no vendor folder.
Then I am reminded of my plugins I created.
Now I am totally confused.
Can someone help me on what are the steps required in order to move my
previous 0.9.6.31 installation over to 0.9.7.12, which I then want to run on heroku???
Or should I do something else?
I am seriously very concerned.
I mean, while refinerycms is no doubt one of the best tools I ever used,
deployment of ruby on rails applications is a nightmare.
Too many gem versions, etc.
Certainly the mistake was to go with the hosting we chose, but to move between
versions is really not transparent to me.
I am also certainly a bit frustrated, I apologize.
