I'm proposing that the April topic be "Automation".
There are endless development tasks that we do (or should do) day in,
day out, and doing them by hand is tedious and error-prone.
I'd like to find out how different people automate their routine tasks,
such as executing tests, notifying developers of bugs, rebuilding code,
and so on.
I can give a short presentation on writing a a Mercurial hook task to
post repo push messages to IRC.
I'd much prefer not to be the only one presenting; can anyone else offer
a short demo of some automation task or tool they're using?
