Hi All,

We are facing the same issue on a Linux VM mentioned here:

http://serverfault.com/questions/257445/some-linux-systems-become-very-slow-when-redis-is-loading-a-big-dataset

This is issue is not happening in a physical box. We are trying to fix
this issue in our virtual box and Any help is much appreciated.

We tried different I/O schedulers (deadline, anticipatory), but those
changes didn't help.

$uname -a

Linux akm 2.6.18-238.5.1.el5 #1 SMP Mon Feb 21 05:52:39 EST 2011
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Also we are using RDB and AOF & virtual-meomory is disabled in Redis.

Thanks,
Abdul

I would like people to stop cross posting.
It is usually counterproductive ... and not very polite for people trying to provide support.

Regards,
Didier.
