A question about Cluster Mode

I just notice that there is a code for cluster mode in trunk.

does it work well? or just experimental code?

Hello!

Redis Cluster is currently alpha code, you can play with it a few
minutes following the instructions in this blog post:

However in the next months I've the plan to do a full immersion
working almost solely on cluster for weeks to move it from alpha to
beta code and at a much better level of completeness. Basically in the
short term future we'll address "simple" HA with Sentinel, will
provide Cluster, and in the meantime to avoid blocking the development
of Redis for all the other small things that incrementally improve the
system, a 2.8 branch will be used to backport stuff from 3.0 to 2.8.
