Subject: master slowlog vs slave slowlog

I have a slave setup which is only used for redundancy, no commands are
issued against it. Why would a master slowlog be empty, but yet the slave
have entries? Are these simply from the commands being replayed?

Yes, it is for the replay. Are your settings for slowlog reporting the
same for both your master and slave? Is your slave on a slower
machine? Less memory?
