Hello, there is definitely this possibility of adding features to Lua,
like compression, that are general enough and can be used to scripts
to indirectly provide more features to Redis... I'll explore the idea
for sure. Thanks.
About smaz itself, there is a project for which they took smaz and
made it a lot more powerful, if you check the github forks you'll see
this, still I got no time to study it seriously enough.
