Hi Tiffany,

Make sure that the anchor is set up to link to PDF Variant of the
page. If you edit the anchor placeholder, there is a drop down
available listing all variants within your project.

Cheers,
Kim

Hi kim!

I have it set up that way but there is also a HTML template that uses the same anc element and when I change the anc in the pdf variant it automatically changes the HTML anc element to the PDF variant as well. I didn't build the template I'm working on some elses site so sort of back tracking here...

Best!

Wow I was reading my post and I did a really bad job of explaining the
situation …here’s the deal:

The HTML page is converting to a PDF with no issue. The issue is that
in this PDF page I have links that for some reason have the URL prefix
of file:///. So if a web user clicks on one of these links within the
PDF they are “broken”.

The content class has 2 templates associated with it. If I expand the
content class /template/ I have a PDF template and an HTML template.
On the HTML template I have an anc link that references another HTML
page within the site and the PDF template is using the same link and
this is the link that’s giving me the headache…

Does this make a little more sense?
