My whole building was shaking. I think it was an earthquake

Penn station area,  the entire building shook.  My coworkers ran in a panic.

In the event of an earthquake, you're screwed anyways.  Evacuating the building and going to street level won't save you.

Upper West Side - glasses on our shelves were shaking and jingling, so it seemed pretty serious for a few seconds, but ultimately just a tremor. Hope the VA/DC area is alright.

I'm 24 stories above Grand Central (Greybar Building) pretty close to
the center of the building. It was very very subtle; it took me a bit
to realize that it wasn't just me shaking from low blood sugar or
something.

It's been a difficult day. If any of you fine foxy ladies out there
don't want to be alone tonight, I can understand. Let's commiserate.
