I just bought a Springfield 1911 a couple months ago from gunbroker.com, I'd check that out if you haven't already.

I might have a friend. He's a cop. Though I heard cop triggers are about 12lbs.

Got the springfield 1911 mil-spec for $600 brand new, arrived at my local gunshop within a week.

$340 for the permit and about $100 for the fingerprinting, thats for a premise permit, not a carry 

other than that, I havent done it yet.
