Yea that exactly what i got too at first...if you look carefully on the registration page it will say something like ....We've temporarily exceeded our capacity. Please try again soon. .... that's perfectly fine from what i'v read so far its on a timer and every few ours the invites work ...so just keep checking back every hour or 2....i had to wait about to hours and i was receiving the same message as you.

Hey guys I just want to clarify that the loophole does in fact still work I invited a friend yesterday and she got in after 5 hours, after reading through most of your recent comments it seems most of you don't quite understand exactly how this loophole works so let me explain.

Basically the first part... the invite process is exactly as Tara posted here https://groups.google.com/d/msg/reddit-nyc/xqx3oP9-MGk/9xEebntnlC8J

However I see that most of you are confused as to why you haven't gotten in and it has been X amount of hours/days and you continue to see
"We've temporarily exceeded our capacity. Please try again soon" . Let me explain

the link in your invite is a specifically attached to your email address,it only work for you so don't bother forwarding it to others. Furthermore the invites are on a random timer so it will

only go through if Google has opened the invite system at their end, which they do every few hours, there is no way of knowing exactly when that is. also the system only opens up to only a certain amount of invites and has a cap.

so for example lets say the system opens at 3pm and has a cap of 10,000 invites, it will close as soon as it hits 10,000 registrations or sooner depending on Google.

also i hear that if you upload a photo of someone and tag them in it, the invite that is sent out to them works instantly. I myself haven't tested this so i cant say for certain. 

The best practice is to leave the invite email open in a new tab and click on the link every hour to check if it goes through.
