Hi I have installed the ReCaptcha PHP library and am having trouble getting the included example scripts to work. The captcha is displayed but when the form is submitted, the only response is 'Could not open socket' [link] Is anybody able to advise me on the best way to troubleshoot this problem?... more »

Newbie here but I have recaptcha working great. I remembered though someone saying the $privatekey should be above the root directory. So I put it up there with ../connections/verify.php Then it came up with a page not found. I reliazed though that I needed to do the same with recaptchlib.php. Experiencing frequent captcha requests on keyword searches, especially for searches using quotation marks and wildcard symbol * , this is annoying enough but now there is no no captcha image, so no way for me to comply with captcha request.

Accepting Invalid Answers

I recently added recaptcha to my website, but it allows the form to submitted no matter if the letters you entered are correct or not. It will even allow for submission when nothing is entered at all. Anyone else have this problem? How did you fix it? Thanks!
