Besides that we're WAY beyond CAPTCHA even being a real defense against spam. All this is now is a way for Google to track us more and torture the real humans. reCaptcha is the worst thing to happen to the web since spam.

So why does it say "Type in the TWO words?" I say again 2TWO2 words?. And that just reinforces my point .. I'd stand a better chance of solving that if I spoke binary and reCaptcha is worse than spam.

Yes, a robot would always have to find two words because it says so.
Humans will use their brain and knowing that there's only one word
visible, types whatever it can, and voila, challenge completed. :p
