Recaptcha case sensitive? Also, is there a "strictness" setting?

Hi,

Just have a couple of questions:

#1.
Is the Recaptcha case sensitive? Does case matter when typing-in the
captcha? From what I can tell, case does not matter, but I just want
to confirm this finding.

#2.
For some reason, when submitting a captcha that appears to be 100%
typed-in correctly, recaptcha thinks it was typed-in incorrectly.

Is there a "strictness" configuration/setting that I can adjust?

I am just confused, because (approximately) 1 out of 3 submitted
captchas work for me.

Anyone else experience this problem?

Thanks!
M

No, it is not case sensitive.

We're not aware of any such instances. If you find something like this, can you give us the URL of the CAPTCHA image and the solution you typed in.

Hi Ben,

Thanks for the replies, that really helps! :)

Thanks for the clarification on the case sensitivity.

For #2, it could be how I am coding things... I will double-check my
coding on this one. Unfortunately, I am working with a non-common
programming language, and I had to use the PHP reCaptcha code in a non-
standard way.

Thanks a billion!
Cheers,
Micky
