Subject: Help finding sanding disks
Several years ago I bought some 2" sanding disks with a semi-flexible
plastic back.  These snap onto a mandrel with a 1/4 turn.  They last
nearly forever but I need some more.  I got some 36 and 50 grit for
hogging off small areas.  Now I can't find them any more.  Any ideas
for a source.  I tried my usual sources (Lee Valley, Klingspor,
Packard, Woodcraft) with no luck.

Picture on ABPW.  Any help appreciated.

Saw no post from you on ABPW.  That said - have you even looked at google?
Good lord a quick search turned up a ton of responses.  Maybe not all of
them are what you are looking for, but have you even looked before posting
this question?  It appears not.

Almost identical, but they only go down to 60 grit.  I have 60 grit
hook and loop.  Seldom need the 36 grit but it is handy on occasion.
Thanks.

Sorry brother for the snippy reply.  I did NOT use Google but I used
Ask.com, which is very similar to Google without the big brother
effect.   I learned that RoLoc is a brand, as is Power-Loc, neither is
the same.  I didn't know the brand name as there is no marking on the
disks or the mandrel.  I looked under mechanical attachment, etc, and
you are right, there is a ton of stuff out there.  After an hour I
decided to see if anyone out there had used the same one I had.

Oh - don't apologize.  My reply might be considered to have been snippy.  I
get the reluctance to submit to google's big brother effect.  I did find a
ton of stuff when I looked, after seeing your post so I was surprised that
you hadn't.  But - I didn't realize your preference for avoiding google.

They won't fit my mandrel.  Guess I bought the last ones ever made
like mine.  Time to start over with another brand.

Thanks.
