Hi all
I've been lurking about a week, hope you don't mind if I jump in
here...
There are quite a few tole painting sites on the web now.
Try these for starters:
http:// www.ToleNet.com
http://www.sentex.net/~jeannine
and I hope you'll visit my page at:
http://vader.castles.com/tpainter
From these pages you'll find links to others. Thanks! Linda

Tole painting UUUG covers cheep woodworking. A lady wanted me to make
her a chest. I was gonna do it till she said she was gonna tole paint
it. Dumped it real fast.

Steve....
Being a little harsh! I've seen some pretty talented tole painters..my
wife included, and it's got nothing to do with the wood. This person was
just looking for a little help.
To the Tole painter - you might try a search on Excite or Yahoo. I think
I remember seeing some references to graft making and/or tole painting.
Good Luck,
Danny

I know Tole painting on good furniture gives me the willies and Tole
painting on garbage furniture (most of what I see) Gives it a bad name
and cannot cover up cheep furniture. And Tole painting like any other
painting takes years to get good. Most people I see have not practiced
it that much.
