shed some light on spray equipment

O K. We have airless guns, high volume low pressure guns,the kind of guns
used to paint cars, conventional AIR sprayers(mixture of pressurized air and
your paint) Why this mess? Is there a web page that I can go to and educate
myself enough to tell the differences from each system and to know when to
use this but not that?

the high pressure guns are fine for most woodworking, too, but waste a lot more
