a requested video test
|
| |
I can't remember who it was (maybe David) who wanted to know if I could
playback a video file that was recorded in a video rate of 28 Mbps 50p when
burned on a DVD and played back as a data file on a Blu-Ray player.
The result is choppy sound with a picture that jumps when scanning. I
suspect that the DVD laser used for DVD discs can't keep up with the fast... more »

just strike another problem with Vegas Pro 10
|
| |
I'm creating a short video with actors in front of s green screen. It was
originally recorded in PAL 720 x 576.
I have set up the session in Vegas as a Standard PAL DV project with a
pixel ratio of 1.0926 so that there are no thin black bars at the top and
bottom of the screen.
When I try to compile the file as an wmv file I find that I can only set... more »

I wonder why
|
| |
I have 2 computers, both running XP pro.
One has the software from a Canon HFS20A HD camera, the other has the software
from a Panasonic TM900.
I think they also both have the codec pack "CCCP".
When I play the m2ts files just using Windows media player, there are problems
with the sound.... more »

Does the zoom mic video camera option really work?
|
| |
I have the zoom mic option on my video camera. I tried some tests and all
that seems to happen is that the audio gain of the microphone is controlled
by the zoom control on the camera. The more you zoom in he louder the sound
becomes.
If i zoom out when there is a drop in the level of sound. If I turn off the... more »

newbie question about Vegas and Panasonic
|
| |
I just got a Panasonic TM900 and I want to get editing software...
Does Sony Vegas handle Panasonic AVCHD?
I have Pinnacle Studio 9 but don't like it too much so I don't want to upgrade.
The reason I ask is that I tried playing a clip in my friends computer with
Canon software and it wouldn't... even though the files are all called the same... more »

Vegas Pro - altering a single colour?
|
| |
I'm trying to find a way with Sony Vegas Pro to intensify the colour green
without changing the red and blue colours.
If there some way of masking the other colours so that only the green
colour is altered to become more vivid? -- Regards Brian

wide angle lens is great
|
| |
I recently brought a Sony video camera to replace my 10 year old DV tape
camera.
One feature I'm very pleased with is the 3.8mm wide angle lens on the new
video camera (26.3mm when converted to 35mm still camera lens). This is great for capturing more in the video. I can zoom out from a
performer and capture some of the audience watching him from behind their... more »

I help out my local church on with their video projects on the side and the pastor has started streaming his sermons live on the internet. He's had some favorable responses and now wants to stream some of his educational lectures online but needs the ability to switch back and forth from a live stream to... more »
