Is it possible to get this effect with a plug-in for Vegas Video?

The "Edge Dectective" pluging you can get from the Vaast site, but don't
expect anything near as good as what has been hand painted.

Have a look at the Water Color Painting tutorial at
http://www.johnrofrano.com/tutorials/watercolor.htm and see if you can get
some ideas from it.

Hey, thats pretty much exactly what Edge Detective does!! The help file
does disclose that you can do everything Edge Detective does manually in
Vegas, but that it purpose for living is to make tweaking the various
settings under one interface.

I did one project with it where I turned off everything but the edge and
tweaked the settings so that even those were almost abstract black lines
on the outlines of people on a pure white background. I used it on a
dance recital and it gave me these cool looking dancing outlines.
