Manfrotto 701HDV, 547BK with PD-150

Hi All

I'm currently In the market for a new tripod, specifically the
Manfrotto 701HDV, 547BK kit. I have a Sony PD-150. I haven'tfound very
much information on this, and the info that i have found, says it is
good for 'small' dv/hdv cameras. Now to me that is a palmcorder such
as a Canon HV40 and others. Just wondering if anyone uses this or has
any comments on this tripod kit for the PD-150. Is it barely ok or
not, or should i look for something else?
