Just purchased a new LCD with digital capabilities. I currently have
Charter service (Glendale, CA area) and the pic and sound are better
by far than my 20 year old RCA. I'm trying to get info about Charter's
basic digital service, aka Digital-View and/or Home Digital. As I
understand it they will rent me a box which must used for all
channels. Will this mean that the channels I currently watch, ABC,
NBC, PBS, History and so on will now be in digital format?

Made two calls to Charter's help number. One said only added channels,
ie those about 100 will be digital. Other said all channels would be
digital.
Does anyone know?
