Hello --

A friend gave me this set, which was originally marketed in Germany.

Can anyone tell me where to learn the name/part number for an adapter
to mate my US Dish Network cable to the VHF/UHF connector on the back
of this set?
The connector consists of a 10 mm outer ring, inside of which is a
plug that resembles the Nissan automobile logo.

The power plug consists of 2 round 4 mm prongs, approx 19 mm on
center.

Also, does anyone know where a user manual is available for download?

The set was manufactured in March 1990.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Sounds like it is designed to work with a european power system, probaby
250V, 50 Hz. You may be able to make it work with a european travel
adaptor, that a overseas visitor would bring to the US.

Also, a european set is likely PAL and won't work with US NTSC TV unless
it has a conversion feature.

Thanks. The power range is 110 - 240, so I think I am OK on that
point.

I assume the set has a conversion feature because my friend said she
remembers using a simple connector (although she can't find it now).

I found the connector at Radio Shack ... "F to PAL" ... $5.

I still need the User Manual, and will appreciate any information as
to where I can download one.
