There's been an ad in the local paper about some job in Alaska where you can
get up to 5 grand a month with free room & board. Sounds too good to be true
so I was wondering if anyone out there has any info on this. Please e-mail

I had a friend who signed up onto a salmon fishing boat for the "season" (?)
and received a percentage of the profits. He did this for 2 consecutive seasonsand used the cash to establish a used furniture store in this area.

However!!! I have heard very bad things about the onshore cannery work. Bad
living conditions, expensive, boring, treated like slave labor, etc.
