Yes, it is. In Google Earth, you can see the call sign, GBTT.

The QE2 and the Queen Victoria are now near Tasmania, according to
<http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/cruiseships.phtml>. Well, as of
yesterday.

Is there a site that shows where ships have been in the past, so that
you could find all the dates the QE2 had been in Sydney? A few days
ago, and a year ago, according to the Cunard web site, but what about
other times and other ships?

That dates the image to at least 2 years ago. If it was last year's visit of the QE2 to Sydney, the Queen Mary 2 could be found
tied up a mile or so east of QE2 at the Navy base.

It wasn't the 2005 visit, because it was overcast then (I have pictures of the QE2 I took 9th Feb 2005 showing the cloud).

So my guess is that the Google Earth images date to February 2006.

The satellite image is February 2007. QE2 had an overnight stay, while
Queen Mary 2 left the same day. If you scroll the map over to Darling
Harbour (West), there are 2 more cruise ships berthed.
These are Van Gogh tied up at Wharf 8, and Silver Wind tied up at
Darling Harbour 3

QE2 would have been close to Tasmania, but Queen Victoria is a long
way away having left Brisbane and is now heading towards Malaysia.

Cheers

Thank you. I thought it was pretty recent as these images tend to be
updated. Identifying the ship wasone of those I thought sos as I did see
the call sign (but confess to not knowing that) butthe length and shape and
arrangement of the rear decks along along with the orange stack made it a
pretty sure bet.
