Thanks for the news. I confess to being very surprised that the cruise ship
rooms aren't needed and that there are so many accommodations still
available. I was expecting an avalanche of spectators for the winter games.
I also confess to being very surprised at the room rates they are throwing
around because $650.00 per night is a little higher than I usually spend
for a hotel room. I notice they had some bargain rates at $550.00/night, so
if my six or eight best friends share with me it gets affordable. I suppose
the price has something to do with the availability. The games aren't long
off, but maybe the prices will come down quite a bit as the torch gets
closer. I do hope the games go well for our northern neighbors.
