Does carnival add any extra fees to your credit card such as
gratutatis or tips or anything else like that for using things such as
the room service or whatever?

The only extra charges are for gratuities if you don't pre-pay them, and
any extra purchases you make on board. Room service is free. Please
consult Carnival's FAQ for the details.

Some cruise lines do charge during certin hours of the night. Check with
the cruise line you are sailing with it should all be online.
