Going to misc.test won't work for the test because she is not getting
any new newsgroup messages from the news server. The server motzarella
changed it's name and news servers to Eternal September. Changing the
news server name in the old account is not enough. The group list has
to be re-downloaded and the group resubscribed. Trying to help her over
e-mail start over and set up a new External September account.

There isn't a special part of the news reader to handle just
rec.travel.cruises. If you can post and misc.test then you can post and
read any unmoderated newsgroup.

You and the others are arrogant. The days when average users know about
misc. test and setting up newsreaders when their ISP's discontinue
service or server settings change are long gone. It doesn't help to
blather that posting a test message to misc. test.

No extended stay. Just stopped by to see what was going on and found out,
it was pretty much SSDD with the same folks.
Maybe I'll take a cruise someday and then I might have cruise comments to
make.
