Let me go look under the sofa cushions for some loose change and maybe I'll
buy some shares.
> Royal caribbean is at 12.72
I thought it was a good deal at $20. I might be nuts, but I am thinking of
buying more.

Unless you really think the world is ending and that the line will be
no more, why would you be nuts to buy something of value at a reduced
price?

Just buy enough to average out at $13 ...

I would wait until it goes down to $5.

How low will it go?

Don't know. I hope it does not go down to $5, but with the current
panic I would not rule it out. Cruises are something consumers can
dispense with when times get bad. And consumers may have no choice with
credit tightening up.

Told you to wait until it was below 15.
Nothing is a great deal now. We have a couple of years of really bad
news for the market. many rock solid companies will declare
bankruptcy as a means to lower their debt. Share holder value can
disappear. Sit it out and wait for a recovery. You don't have to try
to buy at the bottom. Buy on a rise.

What happens if it does? We'll I certainly hope it doesn't, but if it does,
I have many alternatives, in addition to some other host agencies to look
at. However, whatever happens, and what I personally choose to do about it,
is my call, not anyone else's. In any event, no matter what the final
outcome is, and based on what can be seen here by some, it is a sure bet
they will still manage to find fault with that too.
Happy sailing...

Don't know what pictures of an old house and a new mobile home has to do
with Joystar not paying commissions and being sued, but whatever. It is as
good an answer as any.

What about your customers? Don't they have the right to know that the
company that is handling their reservations is in legal and financial
trouble? I don't see you posting any press releases about this situation.
Hmmm I see you have my name on your note Not sure why... BUt I see
nolthing from the Horses MOUTH about Joystar other then a manufactured
home being put on a lot or something
BUt back to what we all were talking about RCCL has risen to the $15

Susette, I have to admit that in my brief existence, that's the first
time I ever heard that expression. Thank you for increasing my vocabulary.

The British Prime Minister of all people had clarity and took decisive
action. Buy the banks, not the bad loans. The other Europeans followed
suit over the weekend. The US will grudging follow and do the same. The
markets are reacting positively. Will it be enough or was it too late?
Time will tell.....

It is too late in the sense that if they had just done the guarantee
the inter-bank loans 3-4 weeks ago, the fall most likely wouldn't have
happened and definitely wouldn't have been so deep. Thus, they needed
all the other crap to fix the extra damage that had occurred in the
interim.
They aren't actually buying the banks in the conventional meaning.
At least in the US, they are investing in non-voting preferred shares.
Look at these as more like senior bonds that also can reflect how well
the company is doing in the market.
I am very happy you have learned some language From susie and I hope
your there laughng.
Absolutely. I've now begun the process of incorporating it in my
conversation and should be able to use it during lunch today. <grin>

They are buying the banks in the conventional meaning. They can't or
won't call it by it's real name in the U.S., so they obfuscate it. The
real name is nationalization. That is what they are doing. It has been
done before, during crisis', it is not without precedent, and as before
they will be sold back to private investors at a later date, if/when it
is possible.
