Royal Caribbean & Celebrity Cruises To Conduct Largest Annual
Community Service Day

1,000 Volunteers Fan Out To Provide Unparalleled Day Of Corporate
Community Service

MIAMI, April 12
Over 1,000 Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises
employees, family members and friends will be repainting, replanting
and refurbishing tomorrow in communities from Miami to Wichita in the
largest annual community service event held by a single Florida
company.

For the fifth consecutive year, the volunteers will spend a day
donating their time and energy to one of 16 non-profit organizations,
in 17 locations. Their efforts are part of the company's annual
G.I.V.E. corporate volunteer day. G.I.V.E. stands for ``Get Involved
Volunteer Everywhere'' and is part of the global cruise company's
outreach efforts in areas where they operate.

The employees will spend their Saturday assisting non-profit
organizations that focus on helping children and families in need,
improving education, and enhancing our environment. Their activities
will be as diverse as:

* Refurbishing classrooms for developmentally challenged children
and
adults
* Sprucing up Miami Senior High School in preparation for its
bicentennial
* Helping "green" Wichita
* Brightening up 26 blocks of the Miami Beach boardwalk
* Helping two YMCA's improve classrooms and play areas for
children

``The events of this past year have underscored the need for unified
community service with strong corporate support,'' said Richard D.
Fain, Chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. ``I am pleased
and gratified that 1,000 of our dedicated employees are responding to
this call for action, and will make important and meaningful
contributions to improve the quality of life for so many people.''

The cruise company's employees were given the opportunity to perform
their volunteer work for one of 16 non-profit organizations. (A list
of the organizations, their project description and their locations
