I stayed at the Pulkovskaya and Pribaltiskaya and both had water
with some color, though it wasn't quite brown. Keep your mouth
shut in the shower.

Giardia is rampant in the city water supply system. I only drank
bottled water there, even brushing my teeth and rinsing my tooth-
brush with it, and I never got sick, but other people I knew got
sick.
