We've narrowed down our choices of where to stay on St. Lucia to several
modest B&B's, inns, and hotels. I was wondering if anyone has any
comments or opinions on these. In scouring the web, I've seen some of
them highly praised in one place and then highly criticized in others,
so I'm very confused!!
We still haven't decided which part of the island to stay on (please see
my earlier post if you have any advice about this -- Soufriere, Marigot
Bay, or Rodney Bay), but here are the places we're considering staying
(they currently have availability for our dates):
Bay Gardens Hotel (Rodney Bay)
My Helen's Inn (Gros Islet)
Top O' The Morne (Morne Fortune, just south of Castries)
The SeaHorse Inn (Marigot Bay)
Mago Estates Hotel (Soufriere)
The Still Plantation or Beach Resorts (Soufriere)
LaHaut Plantation Resort (Soufriere)
Green Parrot Hotel
Rainbow Hotel (Rodney Bay)
Seascape
I would be so very grateful for any comments or advice you have on
these. I know that they are very different properties in character.
Thanks very, very much!
Best regards,
Todd Feldman

Just to throw one more into the pot, my friends liked the Capri
http://www.stluciatravel.com/capri.htm. You would definitely need a car
though as it's right at the northern tip.

Be sure to check and see if the turtle watches have started. If you
like nature it is a great experience.
