Hi, We plan to go to Phu Quoc at the end of our Vietnam/Cambodia tour for 3-4 nights to relax. As we don't know anything about the island can we just lay on the beach during the day and walk to a restaurant for some good food and sites in the evening. American, never been to Japan, thinking of flying up on JetStar to Tokyo but can barely spend three days there. Is this worth the long flight? Looking to eat in some great restaurants, see some local sites, stay at a nice place. Know no Japanese, nor have a guide. Advice? Other option is Honolulu, where I have been and it's easy.
