  yes i hope they change the rules . I do not take a laptop and a small &lt;br&gt; purse is a hard thing to judge . My idea of a small purse can be very &lt;br&gt; different from securities. There are so many sizes to purses. I am &lt;br&gt; also diabetic and need to carry a blood monitor . They need to allow &lt;br&gt; some sort of a bag . My husband does not carry a laptop either but

  Many thanks Jeff- very helpful. It seems that in April LAN has a very &lt;br&gt; busy schedule, with hourly flights throughout the day, but TACA have &lt;br&gt; only a couple. We&#39;re not too bothered by the early start. It was a bit &lt;br&gt; alarming to have expedia.co.uk initially quote £300 for a return flight, &lt;br&gt; given our flights from MAN to LIM (via AMS) were around £600...

  \\TACA Group and LAN are both more reliable than most of the previous &lt;br&gt; Peruvian carriers, and either one will be flying modern equipment, so I &lt;br&gt; don&#39;t think there is going to be one reason to choose one over the other on &lt;br&gt; that basis.
